Convocation, National Fitness Instructor Batch Four 2019

Minister of State for Higher Education, Mohamed Hashim and Dhiraagu Manager Health & Safety, Mohamed Shafeeu distributed awards at Male’ Fitness Academy Convocation Ceremony on Friday 15 Nov 2019 at the Mookai Suites Conference Hall.

Twelve students achieved their National Certificate III in Fitness Instructor, awarded by the Maldives TVET Authority. The Male’ Fitness Academy is a leading course provider in sports science and have been conducting TVET Certification since 2016. Batch Five interns are due to complete their course this November.

The Academy has three courses scheduled for 2020. They are Batch Six from February to April. Batch Seven starts soon after Roadhamas running from June to August. Batch Seven is scheduled from October to December. Applications are now open (hyperlink)

State Minister Mohamed Hashim expressed support for ensuring the integrity and quality of TVET course delivery. Dhiraagu Manager Health & Safety, Mohamed Shafeeu, who is also the Chairman of Dhiraagu Employees Club, expressed ongoing interest in facilitating physical activity to improve staff health.

Hamid Abdul Ghafoor, Director of Male’ Fitness Club Pvt Ltd thanked Janaka Samarasinghe for his services in establishing the Certificate III and welcomed Abdul Razak Ibrahim as the new Instructor. Academy Director Hawwa Zahira, MFC Manager Aishath Sabah and all Trainers joined the ceremony to celebrate the achievement of our students.
